Royal Belfast Academical Institution and Sullivan Upper School met for the final of the Bannister Bowl on Wednesday afternoon at Havelock Park.
Only one goal separated the two teams at half time with RBAI leading 1 – 0 thanks to quick thinking from Robbie McAreavey who dispossessed a defender on the edge of the D before slotting home two minutes before the break.
A busy second half saw five goals in total with Inst’s Tsai Rainey getting the scoreboard clicking over by getting on the end of a penalty corner. RBAI then raced to a 4 – 0 lead with two goals from captain Frank Hollway in a two minute burst.
