The men’s All Ireland League 1B continues this weekend with the bulk of the Ulster sides involved still looking for their first win. malone were the only Ulster side to pick up a win on the opening weekend, and that was at the expense of fellow Ulster side Ballymena.

Banbridge and City of Armagh did pick up a try bonus point and a losing bonus point, against Old Belvedere and Old Wesley respectively, but all the sides will be looking for an improvement this week.

The fixtures for Week 2 are shown below.

It’s still a bit early in our coverage of this league for us to do up any predictions, and no doubt several of the Ulster sides will have their panels disrupted by Ulster A’s final game in the Celtic Cup on Sunday.

However we will be covering the all Ulster clash between Ballynahinch and City of Armagh at Ballymacarn Park. Banbridge and Malone are also at home for this round and all three matches are a great opportunity to get your Heineken Cup weekend kicked off by taking in a senior club game ahead of Ulster’s clash against Leicester.

The current league standings ahead of this weekend’s games are shown below.
