Women: Qualifying League Week 3 Round Up.

Last Sunday saw Round 3 of the Ladies Ulster Qualifying League matches take place, with some exciting matches.

Current League Champions Carrick entertained last seasons League Final rivals and current league toppers, Ballymoney at home with Carrick coming away with the honours in a 19 – 12 win.

Cavan travelled to Denegal where the they beat the newly combined home side Letterkenny/Finn Valley 42 – 0, giving Cavan  a great start in their first league match. Tries came courtesy of Cathy King, Brigid Reynolds (2), Anna Coyle, Shauna Brady and Deirdre O’ Reilly (2). Coyle adding a conversion.

This coming weekend could see major changes in the current standings, with an undefeated . . .
