Heineken Cup: Last ever Final to be Held in Cardiff.

What could possibly be the last ever Heineken Cup Final will now be held in Cardiff, a place the ERC strangely calls it spiritual home? Strange indeed as no Welsh side, apart from Cardiff who got to the final in 1997,  has ever come close to winning the competition, a competition that was saved the last time the English had a hissy fit by Ulster’s 1999 victory at a packed Lansdowne Road.

The competition was again boosted by the ultimate bandwagoning Turnips and pushed further forward by Leinster’s dominance in recent years so you would think that Ireland would be more of a spiritual home. The English and Welsh would shaft anyone if the money is right, the French are just too temperamental and the Scottish and Italians will never be good enough so it only really leaves Ireland in the running as far as “Spirituality” goes! They must have done something really bad to lose the high moral ground to the money grubbing Welsh!

Mind you maybe Lansdowne . . .
