Good to see a few Connacht boys get a lash for Ireland A against the Jaguares baby! Bradley must be wanting to have a look at the Connacht boys in different combinations so he can decide on which ones he wants to take with him to Leinster next season!
With a bit of luck housemates Young, Kyriacou and O’Donoghue will get a good run from the bench and Caldwell will need to up his performance if he’s going to remain above O’Donoghue in the Ireland pecking order.
Would have liked to have seen Cave in the centre with Whitten but with not much expected from the semi-pro Jags I guess they were wanting to have a look at Matthews with the impressive McFadden.
The Argentina Jaguares have been playing a lot of rugby lately. They were crowned the inaugural Americas Rugby Championship winners after a comfortable 35-11 defeat of British Columbia’s Bears in the final last month. They also won the 3rd/4th place play off in this years Churchill Cup, though they didn’t come up against Ireland A who were in a different group and, of course, went on to win the competition.
Los Jaguares should be used to playing together but then again Ireland have plenty of Ulster boys to bring on from the bench if things start tp go pear shaped.
