The Front Row Union Women’s Camps

About the Camps

We’ve been trying to pull something like this together over the last few years and we think that we’ve finally got the right balance of coaches on board to deliver a three day programme that will really add to your rugby experience.

We are looking at three camps, one for developing adult players, one for Elite U18 players and one for Elite U16 players.

The camps have been designed as an accompaniment to your club coaching and we are looking to give you career long routines that will help you to continually improve your core skills in passing, tackling, rucking and mauling and well as improve your specialist skills in scrum, lineout, restarts, attack and defence.

All club coaches are welcome to attend

All participating players will receive a detailed Personal Development Plan which will include

  • A start of camp skills assessment
  • An end of camp skills assessment
  • Detailed recommendations on areas to work on throughout the coming season.

As well on the above we will also advise on the following, to help with player recruitment and retention:

  • Working with and promoting your club – supporting club development, the use of social media, websites and print media.

The proposed dates for the three camps are as follows:

  • Developing Adult Women 9 – 11 July 2019
  • U18 Elite Girls 23 – 25 July 2019
  • U16 Elite Girls 30 July – 01 Aug 2019

The camps will run in the evening from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm with the venues still to be confirmed but likely in the greater Belfast area.
