I caught up with Pegasus against Old Alex, in the EYHL, on Sunday afternoon at The Dub. Having lost to Catholic Institute, in Limerick the day before, it was a must win game for the Belfast side.
It was a quality game from the start with both sides showing plenty of enterprise in an even first quarter.
Good teams create chances but great teams create an inevitability that they are going to score and I stated to get that feeling off Pegasus as they flooded forward time and again in the second quarter. However, the disciplined Old Alex defence coped admirably as Pegasus upped the tempo and the teams changed ends with the score at nil all.
