On Saturday evening, as the shadows lengthened, Belfast Harlequins met Queens in an Ulster Premier League A fixture at Deramore Park.
A robust 1st quarter ended in stalemate, with defences on top.
Quins took the lead after 23 minutes, following a great strike by Chris Lemon and held on to the lead at halftime.
The robust nature of the game continued into the 3rd quarter. When Queens gradually exerted pressure Conor Irwin scored in the 40th minute. With score tied at the end of the 3rd quarter, it was all to play for.
Queens came into their own in the 4th quarter with play largely at the Quins end.
