On Monday evening Queens entertained Banbridge in the Ulster Women’s Premier League at the Dub Playing Fields, Upper Malone. It was going to prove a tight encounter!
Banbridge had the largest share of possession and territory in a scoreless 1st quarter. They moved to shut down Queens and dominated midfield.
In the 2nd quarter Queens worked their way back into the game, but didn’t take the opportunity of the 1st goal, when a penalty stroke was missed on 23 minutes. The match was scoreless at halftime.
