On Sunday afternoon Ulster U21 played Leinster U21 at Lisnagarvey’s ground, in the U21 Men’s Interprovincial Championship.
In a goal less 1st quarter Leinster edged play, being a ‘metre faster’ and their attacks having more cohesion.
Deep in the 2nd quarter, Evan Jennings broke the deadlock, when he scored from open play, for Leinster in the 23rdminute. Leinster lead 1-0 at halftime.
Late in the 3rd quarter, Ollie Kidd equalized for Ulster on 43 minutes, after a penalty corner. Ulster’s joy was short lived when barely a minute later Leinster restored their lead from a Ryan Spencer strike, to lead 2-1 at the close of the 3rd quarter.
