We took in a spooktactular Ulster Hockey Women’s Premier League game between Ulster University Elks and Lisnagarvey at the UUJ Sports Arena on Friday evening against the backdrop of multiple fireworks lighting up the sky.
A hard working Elks side dominated the opening two quarters and they must be wondering how they only had a 1 – 0 lead at the break after enjoying approximately 80% territory and possession.
The Elks goal, from Lucy Craig, came after 10 minutes, from their second penalty corner, but they really should have gone into the second half with a comfortable lead.
