I caught up with Victoria College and Wallace High 3rd XI’s for a senior friendly at Newforge on Saturday morning.

It was a highly competitive and entertaining game which was a testament to the depth of talent at these two schools.

Victoria created the early chances but Wallace claimed the opening goal with a strike from Alice Furphy after nine minutes to give Wallace a 0 – 1 lead into the second quarter.

Both teams continued to attack in the second quarter with Victoria continuing to create chances but they were unable to find the back of the net and the . . .
