Schools U16 Cup: Campbell College 35 Methodist College 29 Final

On a bright autumnal Wednesday afternoon, the Kingspan Stadium was the venue for the Schools Under 16 Cup Final between city rivals, Campbell College and Methodist College.

With both teams not frightened to throw the ball around and attack from deep it made for one of the most entertaining finals in recent years.

Harry Doherty opened the scoring for Methody

After early Campbell pressure, in their first attack of the game Methody captain Harry Doherty ploughed over, under the posts, after 6 minutes. Rhys Johnston’s conversion had Methody leading 7-0.
