We caught up with the Ulster club fixtures in the opening round of the All Ireland Hockey League on Saturday afternoon.

Our first match was a tough one for Ulster University Elks who welcomed, defending EYHL Champions, Loreto to Jordanstown Sports Village on Saturday afternoon.

It was a close first half as both teams sounded each other out but despite chances being created the first half ended scoreless.
