Representative Friendly: Ulster U16 Girls 0 UK Lions 4

We caught up with the final day of eight match series between Ulster and UK Lions U16 Girls Hockey at Lisnagarvey on Sunday.

The results of the matches over Friday and Saturday had the UK Lions leading the series by 3 – 2 with one game drawn in the six games, the win’s decided by the odd goal.

The fifth game was also fairly close in the opening exchanges with no score in the first quarter.

The Lions took the advantage at the end of the second quarter with Pip Lucas getting the final touch at a penalty corner to give the visitors a 0 – 1 lead at the break.
