Be the difference and get your name on a players jersey!

O2 Be The Difference campaign asks supporters to record their roar and get behind the Irish rugby team for the 2011 RBS 6 Nations Campaign

O2 are giving supporters the opportunity to show their passion and truly get behind the team. Supporters will be able to upload their Roar at www.bethedifference.ie where it will be featured as part of a supporter’s sound wave. The best Roars as selected by the team will be featured on the big screen at Aviva Stadium before the France and England games.

Once again, O2 are offering supporters the opportunity to be part of the very fibre of the team by having their names added to a player’s jersey number. Supporters who record a Roar will have their name automatically added to a player’s number which they can search for on www.bethedifference.ie. Supporters who do not record a Roar can still register their name and will be in with a chance of having their name featured on one of the player’s jerseys.

As part of the 2011 Be The Difference campaign there will be an O2 Rugby app available for download through iTunes and the O2 app store. The app will give people the chance to submit their roar, get their name on a jersey and view exclusive behind the scenes footage from Brian O’Driscoll and Paul O’Connell, including a challenge match unlike any other.
