The CE Bowman Cup was contested by Ballymena and Belfast Metropolitan College U18 sides on Saturday afternoon at Ravenhill.

It was Belfast who earned an early penalty with No 13, Cameron Patterson stepping up to score the 3 points.
Ballymena stuck back pretty quickly with fullback, Jack Gaston going in at the corner to put Ballymena ahead 5 – 3.
It was a game of fast running and big tackles, with lots of fine performances, but it was a driving forward’s try by No 2, Ryan . . .
