Blackrock travelled from Dublin to play Cooke women in a Women’s AIL game at Shaw’s Bridge.

On a dark, gloomy, wind and rain swept pitch, Cooke, who lacked cohesion and coordination crashed to a bruising defeat.

Cooke started brightly, but turned around 0 – 19 down. In the 2^nd half, they conceded over a point per minute to end on a 0 – 66 drubbing.
