Men All Ireland: Lisnagarvey 6 Corinthian 0

We caught up with the Men’s EYHL match between Lisnagarvey HC and Corinthian HC at Comber road on Saturday afternoon.

Thanks to a vastly superior goal difference, over second placed Three Rock Rovers, table topping Garvey needed any win to ensure they claimed the Mens All Ireland League in this final regular season game.

Andrew Williamson opens the scoring in Q2

Corinthian didn’t make it easy for them as they battled out a scoreless Q1 but two goals at the start and end of Q2 put the home team in control. Andrew Williamson picked up the first on the 22nd minute and Ben Nelson added the second 11 minutes later for a 2 – 0 lead at half time.
