We caught up with the Men’s Intermediate League match between Antrim HC and Saintfield HC at Antrim Forum early Saturday afternoon.

We could only stay for the first three quarters of this one and while we were there it was a close game with Saintfield appearing to create the more chances in a scoreless first half.

Antrim appeared to push forward more in the third quarter but Saintfield were awarded a late penalty corner chance and after a couple of attempts it was successfully converted by Ash Brown to give the visitors a 0 – 1 lead as we left and the teams went into the final quarter.
