The last match at Comber Road on Saturday afternoon with the Irish Hockey Men’s Trophy Final between North Down and Kilkeel and the sun was still out.
It was a tight enough first half but Kilkeel looked to be getting on top as the game progressed.
After a scoreless Q1 Kilkeel took the lead about 20 minutes in when Luke Russell scored in open play.
North Down pulled it back to 1 -1 three minutes later after Gareth McKeown converted a penalty corner.
