Women Premier: Banbridge 0 Ards 1

We caught up with the Ulster Hockey Women’s Premiership match between Banbridge and Ards at Havelock Park early Saturday afternoon.

Banbridge’s keeper saw plenty of action at the start of the game against Ards

Despite the league being done and dusted it was a lively enough game as the young home side looked to impress. However it was their defence that was called into action the most as Ards controlled territory and possession in a scoreless first quarter.

Ards’ Naomi Grundie (right) scored the only goal of the game from a penalty corner.
