On Saturday lunchtime Queens faced Ballymoney in a Irish Senior Cup tie at The Dub, Upper Malone.

In the 1st half Queens couldn’t make their dominance count

Given the territory, possession, and tactical dominance of Queens it is a mystery how the game reached halftime scoreless. Ballymoney had a few rare moments in the Queens half, forcing a penalty corner but almost all of the game was played in their half.

Four 4th quarter goals reflected Queens’ dominance

Eventually the deadlock was broken by a Zoe Wilson strike, after 41 minutes. Queens continued to dominate but couldn’t add to their solitary goal and . . .
