An eerily echoey Kingspan Stadium was the venue for the 1st game of the Celtic Challenge double header between Gwalia Lightning and Glasgow Warriors.
Despite most of the territory and possession in the first 20 minutes, Glasgow couldn’t break through a robust Gwalia defence.
On 26 minutes Bryonie King scored from close range. Robyn Wilkins’ conversion had Gwalia up 7-0.
A Wilkins try in the right corner, after 29 minutes gave Gwalia a 12-0 halftime lead.
The 2nd half was only 2 minutes old when Maisie Davies’ try, and Wilkins conversion had Gwalia 19-0 up.
