Regent House edged out Antrim Grammar School 10-5 in a tense encounter at Regent on Saturday morning in the Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Medallion Shield. In a game dominated by strong defense and tactical kicking, the boot of Regent’s Zach McMinn proved to be the difference.

Antrim struck first just a minute after kickoff, with fullback Tom McNeilly racing clear to touch down for an unconverted try.

Regent responded swiftly, however, with Oliver Crawford crossing the line moments later to level the score. Zach McMinn added the extras to put the home side ahead 7-5.
