The final match at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club on Tuesday was the Tier A Semi Final between Banbridge Academy and Royal School Armagh, with both teams producing a thrilling game.
Banbridge were quick out of the blocks with a goal by Casey Cousins a few minutes in the game. Bann went on to have the best of the first quarter but there were no further goals leaving the score at 1 – 0 to Banbridge as the teams went into the first break.
The Royal School started to slowly work their way into the game in the second quarter with both keepers called into action but with no further scores the teams changed ends with Armagh still trying to chase down that single goal deficit.
