We caught up with the Schools Cup Pool B match between Friends’ School and Belfast High School at Lisburn on Saturday morning.
Friends looked to set the tone from kick off and they were rewarded with a try from winger Conor Hall after 15 minutes to take the score to 5 – 0.
Belfast High hit back with a successful penalty from Archie Cruickshank two minutes later to take the score to 5 – 3 at the end of the first quarter.
The home team pulled further ahead with a try from prop Joel Collins and with Harry Moore adding the extras the score pushed out to 12 – 3.
