Women’s Super Series 2023: Scorchers defeated the Dragons by 7 wickets

On Sunday, Lisburn Cricket Club hosted a double header in the Women’s Super Series, at Wallace Park. Played in a T20 format, the second game was between the Dragons and the Scorchers.

Amy Hunter finally fell for 60 off the bowling of Sophie MacMahon

Unlike the previous game the Dragons got on to a great start, with and putting on 73, for the 1st wicket. Hunter would eventually make 60. The rest of the batting struggled, with the Dragons eventually making 113 in their 20 overs.

Christins Coulter Reilly was smartly stumped by Amy Hunter, off the bowling of Leah Paul

In reply, the Scorchers openers put on 39, before was bowled and 65, before was run out. The Scorchers reached their target in 17.1 overs to win by 7 wickets.
