Schools Athletics: Ulster Schools Championship Day 1

The Ulster Secondary Schools Athletics Championships were held at the Antrim Forum Track on Friday evening and all day Saturday.

A comparatively quiet Friday saw hurdles, steeple chase and middle distance action on the track with the hammer and high jump dominating the field activities.

The results are still to be verified but some of our highlights are below with full galleries at the bottom of the page.

Larne Grammar School’s Anna Campbell winning the Senior Girls High Jump for the second successive year.
Matthew Lockington, Sullivan Upper School, won the Minor Boys 75m Hurdles
