Larne Hockey Club and Owls Hockey Club met in the final of the Ulster Hockey Intermediate Cup on Saturday afternoon at Stormont Pavilion.
Larne were firm favourites for this one and they started on the attack with Kerry McIlwaine creating a few early chances.
However, the Owls keeper was in outstanding form and they kept a clean sheet going into the second quarter.
It was a similar pattern in the second quarter and a busy first half ended with the game still scoreless as the teams changed ends.
