All Ireland Cup: Cooke 12 Railway Union 84

We caught up with a Women’s All Ireland Cup league match as Cooke entertained Railway Union at Shaw’s Bridge late Saturday afternoon.

It was a tight opening quarter despite an early try from Railway’s Lindsay Peat, converted by Dani Downey, after 8 minutes to give the visitors a 0 – 7 lead.

Cooke and Railway Union competed in an All Ireland Cup group match on Saturday evening at Shaw’s Bridge.

Dee Roberts crossed for their second try on the 20 minute mark and two minutes later Steph Carroll went over out wide to take the score to 0 – 17 in Railway’s favour.
