Early Saturday afternoon Ballymoney were the visitors to The Dub, to face Queens in a Women’s Premier League fixture.
Queens took the lead on 6 minutes, when Jenna McCarlie, though surrounded by Ballymoney defenders, managed to slot the ball home for a 1-0 lead.
On 11 minutes Alyssa Jebb latched on to a through ball, to guide the under the keeper & a 2-0 lead.
Jess McMaster deflected a speculative long ball into the goal after 14 minutes to give Queens a 3-0 1st quarter lead.
In a scoreless 2nd quarter Ballymoney steadied themselves to launch attacks but were beaten back by a tight Queens defence.
