All Ireland League Women: Cooke 12 UL Bohemian 55

I caught up with the second half of Cooke’s penultimate All Ireland League match on Saturday evening as they entertained our old friends UL Bohemian RFC, at Shaw’s Bridge.

The “Lean, Mean Red Machine” © The Front Row Union has been misfiring of late but as I arrived, just before the half time whistle, the visitors had built up a 0 – 31 lead thanks to tries from Alana McInerney, Eilis Cahill, Clara Barrett, Ciara O’Dwyer and Clodagh O’Halloran plus three conversions from Nicole Cronin.

Boh’s McInerney and O’Dwyer crossed for their second tries approximately 10 and 15 minutes into the second half and with Cronin adding a conversion the score had bumped up to . . .
