We caught up with Instonians at Shaw’s Bridge as they make a home appearance, against Bruff, in the All Ireland League 2C. It’s been an impressive start for the Belfast side in the AIL who have picked up all 25 points with 5 bonus point wins in their first five outings since promotion.

The visitors started the game with plenty of intent and after an attacking line out maul they worked the ball wide for wing Shane Duggan to open the scoring. Paul Collins added the extras to give Bruff a 0 -7 lead.

Instonians looked to get their game going with a few breaks through midfield but Bruff were able to close them down and a second attacking line out saw Tony Cahill sneak over from close . . .
