All Ireland League 1A: Ballynahinch 13 Cork Constitution 20

I popped down to Ballymacarn Park on Saturday afternoon to catch the AIL 1 fixture between Hiinch and Cork Con plus the Towns Cup match between Hinch 2’s and Limavady.

It was a typical Ballynahinch day, strong winds and the inevitable rain though it didn’t seem to put off the supporters who were there in good numbers.

The conditions did severely limit the play though, the first half was pretty much an arm wrestle as Cork, with the strong gusts largely at their back, tried to rack up a big score before turning to face the elements.
