Ballynahinch welcomed Banbridge to Ballymacarn Park on Saturday afternoon for an Ulster Rugby Premiership Division 1 match. Report and pictures by Cyril Boyd.

A high scoring match in Ballynahinch today with the home side in dominant form. An early Zac Ward try attempt was disallowed before scrum half Ruairi Meharg crossed near the posts, injuring himself in the process, No 12 Mark Best converted to take the score to 7 – 0.

A strong comeback by the visitors saw their No 13 Andrew Morrison crossing in the corner to get them back in the game. Almost immediately, the home side went up to the other end and Fergus Jemphrey increased the lead with Best again adding the extra points as the scoreboard rattled . . .
