Ulster Cup: PSNI 1 CIYMS 2 (Linden Cup)

I really enjoyed this Linden Cup match at Newforge as the PSNI entertained CIYMS for this first round clash early Saturday afternoon. My plan was to head up to Shaw’s Bridge after the third quarter but there was still plenty of jeopardy in the game so I stayed to the end.

The way the first half went you would have though threat the PSNI would have had the game well won by the final quarter as they spent almost the entire first half on the attack. It gave my new camera a good workout as I sat down the other end, only getting up close with the occasional break out by CI.

The PSNI worked a series of penalty corners in the first half.
