Interprovincial: Ulster U18 Girls 0 Leinster U18 Girls 66

The girls U18 Interprovincials kicked off on Saturday afternoon at Newforge with Ulster going down to a heavy defeat to their Leinster counterparts. Report and images by Cara McLean.

Leinster were quick out of the blocks with wing Amy Larn crossing, for her first of three tries, after 2 minutes. Out half Abby Moyles, who had a good day with the boot, knocked over the opening conversion to give Leinster a 0- 7 lead.

Ulster lacked continuity and with their set piece, particularly their lineout, not performing it was a case of a backs to the wall defence for the vast bulk of the first half.
