Connacht U18s were the visitors to Newforge Country Club to play Ulster U18 Club in Sunday’s Interprovincial double header.

Ulster pressure after kick off paid dividends, when Connacht conceded a penalty try after only 3 minutes for Ulster to lead 7-0.

Connacht had the lion’s share of possession and territory, but a stubborn Ulster defence held out until the 33rdminute when Patrick Egan found space to power over, for Conall Gill to convert to level the scores.
