Championship 1: Grosvenor 17 Clogher Valley 55

On Saturday afternoon, table topping Clogher Valley, travelled to Gibson Park to play Grosvenor in an Ulster Rugby Championship Division 1 league fixture.

Clogher Valley showed their credentials, as a well drilled, cohesive unit from the outset.

David Sharkey found room on the let to wander in unopposed on the left, Paul Armstrong converted and Clogher Valley were on their way 7-0 after 5 minutes.

Stout Grosvenor defence held out until 22 minutes, when Armstrong converted his own try, for 14-0.

Grosvenor had a series of attacks repulsed before Ben Davies scrambled over after 32 minutes, converted by Adam Skelton, to reduce the deficit to 14-7.
