On Saturday afternoon Belfast Harlequins met Sligo in an AIL2B fixture at Deramore Park.
I took in the second half of a high scoring game.
Tries by Matthew Early and Guilherme Colghetto and a conversion and penalty goal by Joshua Reeves, countered by a penalty goal by Paul Kerr by Quins gave Sligo a 15-3 halftime lead in a lively first half.

A 48th minute Sligo try by Enda Gavin, converted by Reeves, consolidated Sligo’s lead at 22-3 and these seemed little way back for Quins, who were having difficulty gaining any territory.
