Club Men: Queen’s University v Lisburn Preseason

Queen’s hosted Lisburn in a Junior Friendly on Saturday afternoon at the Dub Playing Fields, Upper Malone.

Our photographer Bob Given was there to capture the action.

Queen’s enjoyed their work out against Lisburn on Saturday.

With Queen’s giving their full squad a hit out the game consisted of 3 x 20 periods, followed by a further 20 minutes, when both teams ran through attack and defense drills.

A very fit and well drilled Queen’s side dominated the game running in 11 tries, of which 8 were converted.

Lisburn worked hard throughout.

It’s been a long lay off but it was a very spirited Lisburn side, who managed a consolation converted try, midway through the 3rd period.
