2021-07-24 Ireland U19 1 Scotland U19 1 Women Four Nations

On Saturday Ireland U19 Women played Scotland U19 Women in their penultimate Four Nations Series game at University of Ulster, Jordanstown, Campus.

Ireland Women took the lead, through , after 2 minutes, in what was tight game, with defenses on top.

We had to wait until the final minute of the 4th quarter for the next goal, when Scotland equalized, through , with the game ending as a draw a full time to set up the shoot-out competition for a bonus point.

The Irish keeper was in fine form, saving 3 Scottish strokes, to give Ireland a 3-0 victory in the penalty competition.

With Wales beating England in their match the draw and bonus point was enough to confirm the Irish U19’s as Four Nations champions with Sunday’s game still to play.
