Ireland Men 7s: Ireland Win Olympic Repechage

Ireland Men overcame the odds to beat hosts France in the Olympics 7s Repechage and will now be travelling to Tokyo next month.

Ireland progressed as planned in their Day 1 Pool Matches at the Olympic Repechage in Monaco, kicking off the tournament with expected wins against Zimbabwe, mexico and Tonga.

The results set up a showdown against Samoa* this afternoon to determine which team finishes top of Pool A and avoid France in the semi final playoff. Samoa currently top the Pool on points difference.
