Darren Sweetnam opened the scoring with a try for Munster, converted by Jake Flannery.

Ulster replied through a Cormac Izuchukwu and Bill Johnston conversion. Flannery and Johnston each added a penalty to take the score to 10 – all at half time.

Conor McMenamin went over from close range for an unconverted try early in the second half and Aaron Sexton put some distance between the sides mid way through the half. Johnston landed the conversion to give Ulster a 22 – 10 win.
