Carrickfergus completed a smash and grab raid at Deramore Park, coming away with a place in the Deloitte Junior Cup semi finals after a 0 – 7 win against Belfast Harlequins on a blustery Sunday afternoon.

was the game’s only scorer with the speedy fullback running in a try, midway through the second half, which she converted herself. 

No way through for Quins as the Carrick defence holds firm.

Despite being under pressure for most of the game, Carrick battled relentlessly throughout and their resolute defence, together with excellent work at the breakdown kept their line intack.
