As the Ulster Club scene approaches the end of the season we thought it would be appropriate to remind everyone who won what in the main cup competitions that we covered throughout our busiest season to date.

Before we get to the winners we’d like to take this opportunity to highlight our favourite games in those competitions. Our favourite four were as follows.

Club Men: Holywood 36 Letterkenny 24 (Gordon West QF)

Club Men: Ballynahinch II 14 Ballyclare 31 (Towns Cup R2)

Club Men: Grosvenor 26 Ballynahinch II 30 (Junior Cup)

Club Men: Larne 31 Carrick 22 (Junior Cup)

Congratulations to all involved in the above games. Each for their own reasons were classics and are worth another look. They all were a far cry from the overly structured PRO14 games served up by the overpumped professionals and all the better for that. They were easily the best games I saw this season.
