Club Men: Towns Cup Preview

Ballyclare will be looking to retain the Towns Cup on Easter Monday when they play Enniskillen in the Final at Ravenhill, kick off 14:30.

The White Hares will be favourites to lift the Cup for the second season in succession having beaten Enniskillen twice in their Championship head to heads, Ballyclare scoring 54 points to Enniskillen’s 18 over the two encounters.

However, Enniskillen have shown some good form in the cup with wins against Dungannon II and Ballymena II, in the earlier rounds, before a hugely impressive win against, high flying, Clogher Valley, in the semifinal. It’s their third appearance in this final in the last four season and they will be determined to make it third time lucky.

Ballyclare progressed to the final via a big win against Ballynahinch II, which had me raving about their play, and they followed that up with a win against Randalstown before edging out City of Armagh II . . .
