According to the Rankings Review we did ahead of the third round there were a few schools who overperformed on match day. Down High and Rainey Endowed both beat teams ranked higher than them and Ballyclare High, Cambridge House, Bangor Grammar and Royal School Dungannon all won by considerably larger margins than their previous results would have indicated.

With all taken into consideration though Rainey Endowed’s huge win against Portadown College was comfortably the result of the round.
