Club Women: Cooke 0 Railway Union 7 (WAIL)

This was another battle of attrition on a wet and windy Saturday afternoon throughout the province.

Cooke looked to have edged the first half with their pack particularly impressive playing into the strong wind. However the Railway defence held firm and the teams turned round with no score.

Railway got their break when former The Front Row Union Ulster U18 Player of the Year went over for the only try of the game, Boles making a rare XV appearance after being involved in the Ireland 7’s squad.  Claire Keohan added the extras to give the visitors a 0 – 7 win.
